Autism:

The Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum is committed to being an autism-friendly venue. All our front-of-house staff have received autism awareness training and are happy to help if needed.

We offer pre-visit information to help prepare for a visit to our Museum:

At the Museum, we have a sensory backpack available, specifically designed for autistic children and have ear defenders available to borrow. Please speak to staff if you would like to use these.
