Fife Council presents: Inspiring Women Leaders - The Journey: Robyn Drummond

Welcome to Inspiring Women Leaders - The Journey : Robyn Drummond! Join us on Mon Jul 29 2024 at 6:00pm at the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum for an evening of empowerment and inspiration. This event is a fantastic opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and learn from one of the best. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to be inspired!

Join us to see to hear about Robyn’s journey as an “accidental entrepreneur” who became a success in such a short space of time. The various touchpoints along her short business career will be interesting and insightful.

Leaving school with no qualifications, Robyn had no idea what she wanted to do with her life, but she always had a passion for health and fitness.

Taking a detour on her journey, Robyn studied at Fife College to do business but when she was given the opportunity to do her fitness qualifications privately, she decided to take the risk. She quit College to pursue her passion for health and fitness.

With the Covid pandemic came not just a potential of crushing her dreams but a genuine opportunity to start her fitness business just as the pandemic hit. Her core values were, and which she still stands by, were to create something positive for those who were struggling with their physical and mental wellbeing. Robyn thrived since creating her fitness company "by accident" during lockdown, with a phenomenal growth in her client base from just 20 people to more than 1,000 in two years. It’s no wonder she has won numerous awards!

Out went the filming workouts in the attic, in came the investment in two websites and two apps. Recognising there was a lot of misinformation around diets and nutrition, Robyn’s vision was to set out on a daily mission to empower women to feel better within themselves, educate them on real nutrition & find a realistic exercise approach.

Robyn’s achievements are impressive :

· Dunfermline Press’ Entrepreneurial award – June 2023

· Young Business Woman 2022 (Women's Business Club) - November 2022.

· Newcomer in Scottish Fitness Industry (Scottish Health & Fitness Awards) - July 2022.

· Scottish Government Parliamentary Motion (submitted by Annabelle Ewing MSP) - November 2021.

· Fife's Best Fitness Business 2021 (Scottish Business Awards) - October 2021.

Doors open at 5.15pm and there will also be plenty of time to network afterwards, too.
